This marinade is quick and easy to make. It works well with chicken, beef, pork or lamb.

- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 teaspoon tomato puree
- 1/2 medium onion, grated and juice reserved
- 125ml milk

- In a medium bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, tomato puree and juice from the onion. Place meat into the bowl, cover and marinate for at least 6 hours, but 24 hours is better.

I used this marinade for some chicken breasts and left it to marinate for 2 days. I don't know how but I forgot to add the milk! I didn't get to taste this but the bf stated it was the best & most tender chicken he ever had, so on his behalf this is a 5 star recipe. Next time I might even add the milk (& there will be a next time). Many thanks for sharing your recipe.-03 Aug 2009

I marinaded chicken in this for 24 hours. The chicken didn't even have any flavor when I was done with it. The chicken didn't taste bad, but I might as well have not done anything to it beforehand because it would have tasted the same.-23 Jun 2011
You are absolutely right. In it something is also to me it seems it is excellent idea. I agree with you.
I think this is the wrong way. And you have to turn off it.
